Fees, Rebates & Funding
Our Psychologists are registered with Medicare. Fees and rebates differ depending on whether you are seeking therapy or assessment services. Please contact us on 02 6230 0880 for more information regarding our fees and the rebates that may apply.
Medicare offer 5 programs under which eligible clients can claim rebates for therapy and assessment fees:
1 – The Mental Health Care Program (includes Telehealth services). A referral is needed from your GP to access rebates.
2 – Chronic Disease Management Initiative. A referral is needed from your GP to access rebates.
3 – Helping Children with Autism. A referral is needed from a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist to access rebates.
4 – Better Start for Children with a Disability. A referral is needed from a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist to access rebates.
5 – Pregnancy Support Counselling. A referral is needed from your GP to access rebates.
* If you do not wish to claim any rebate through Medicare, then you do not need a referral to make an appointment with anyone on our team.
Private Health Insurance Funds
Many health insurance funds offer rebates depending on your level of coverage. Our Psychologists are registered with most health funds. Contact your fund to find out your level of cover.
Better Start for Children with a Disability
For children under the age of 7 years with a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder or other recognised disability (such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Fragile X Syndrome, Hearing and/or Vision impairment), there is a funding program.
As the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is rolled out across Australia, children supported the Better Start program will transition to the NDIS.

NDIS supports people with a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in everyday activities.
Please note, at present, CPCCF can only provide services under NDIS to clients who are self-managing their funding.

Cancellation Policy
We use text reminders, phone calls and emails to ensure you confirm your appointment within the required time frame.
If you then cancel or postpone your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment you will be charged a fee, regardless of the reason for the change or cancellation. The only exception to this will be if you provide CPCCF with a copy of a valid medical certificate. This process will be outlined both verbally and in writing at the time of your first appointment.
Please provide as much notice as possible of any cancellations or changes.
