Better Start for Children with a Disability
For children under the age of 7 years with a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder or other recognised disability (such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Fragile X Syndrome, Hearing and/or Vision impairment), there is a funding program.
As the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is rolled out across Australia, children supported the Better Start program will transition to the NDIS.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
NDIS supports people with a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in everyday activities.
Please note, at present, CPCCF can only provide services under NDIS to clients who are self-managing their funding.
To learn more about NDIS funding and to check eligibility please visit the NDIS website. http://www.ndis.gov.au/
We use text reminders, phone calls and emails to ensure you confirm your appointment within the required time frame.
If you then cancel or postpone your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment you will be charged a fee, regardless of the reason for the change or cancellation. The only exception to this will be if you provide CPCCF with a copy of a valid medical certificate. This process will be outlined both verbally and in writing at the time of your first appointment.
Please provide as much notice as possible of any cancellations or changes.
